Get Involved

Every child deserves to learn compassion. Help us get them there.

Whether you lead a school, want to give, or run a shelter or ranch — there’s a place for you in this work.

For Schools & Districts

Bring compassion education to your classrooms

We do the heavy lifting. You get a turnkey, standards-aligned program with trained teachers, vetted animal partners, and ongoing support — plus measurable outcomes you can report to your board.

A pilot can begin in one classroom and grow to your whole district. We’ll help you find the funding, too.

What it costs to start

Single-classroom pilot — 30 days$750
Whole-school program — one year$15K–25K
District rollout — multi-school$50K+

Grant funding is available — we provide the prep and draft applications.

For Community Partners

The animals are already here. Let’s put them to work.

Shelters, rescues, equine centers, veterinarians, and therapy-animal teams: Gentle Steps gives a fundable, standards-aligned framework around the good work you already do. A shelter that says “we serve 500 students through a standards-aligned curriculum” wins more grants than one that says “we do school visits sometimes.”

We make you stronger — more visible, more fundable, more impactful.
